Broken Heart is a musical drama depicting a young girl growing up and experiencing difficulties and emotions that almost every person can relate to. Using brief excerpts of contemporary songs that communicate people's search for meaning, a well-written narration that gives the story depth, and symbols of the crucifixion that everyone understands, the drama drives home the point that Christ's death was for me. The drama makes clear that while Satan's "toys" promise pleasure, they bring pain. Only Christ can forgive and make all things new.
